Eric was a student at the Collège in 2001, and since then, not one year has passed without a visit to the Collège.

For Eric, a trip to Cannes is a necessary breath of fresh air from his life as a trader in New York, especially now when his profession is not so attractive, given the current state of the stock market.  Eric came one afternoon to the Collège, bringing the traditional gift of American cookies, the real thing, to the main office.  He then sat down in the courtyard under the plane trees and opened his laptop.  To our surprise, he was working on a movie script.  Coincidently enough he was sitting at the same table where another former student, Russel Gerwitz, had written the script for the Spike Lee film “the Inside Man”.  A good omen, perhaps?
