Each professor has his or her own style, and sometimes a specialty. For carole it’s her sweet disposition and fairy tales. Carole loves telling stories, and she also likes giving the tools to others to imagine other fantastic realities in which fairies, magic, and spell-casting witches coexist with crying princess and the toads that they fall in love with. For two years now, Carole shares her secrets with other teachers who leave with new tools for inciting their students to learn and speak more in class, in whatever language they may speak.

Concerning her own students, those she teaches all year round, they get their dose of the conditional tense, indirect style and the subjunctive, but they also get to benefit from this imaginative supplement that leaves them dreaming. This is the gift that she gives her students that they will keep with them long after Christmas, while Carole will go down her own path marked with a trail small white stones, hand in hand with Lucas, her beloved son. |
