A ten minute break in the sun.
Tuesday afternoon, 3:30, it’s breaktime. Some students leave their art history class, and others their afternoon language courses. The temperature is pleasant, the sun is shining, and the café baristas are charming. Reluctant to go back to class as it is so nice in the sun, the students prolong their short break.
“3:40”, the loudspeaker calls out formally… It is the end of the break; the end of their moment in the sun. Time to go back to class.
