Menacing skies and brisk temperatures… Saint Tropez from a different perspective.
The trip by boat, with a first stop in Port-Grimaud, a small riparian town built about thirty years ago based upon the style of Venice where even the buildings and paintings resemble the city of Doges.
Next stop, Saint-Tropez. The season has not yet begun and, at the citadel, one of the two peacocks guarding the grounds can show off. Their competition will start to arrive in a few weeks, when the season begins and flashy and glamorous come flocking to this Mecca of wealth, just to be seen there.
No show put on for the seven students who visited during the excursion, just the simple discovery of a village much like any other, a day in the beginning of spring, one where it would be preferable to be dressed warmly.
