Night falls abruptly, and we get out our sweaters. November is the least agreeable month of the year here, but luckily there is the celebration of the new Beaujolais production, as it is the season. In the French Traditions series, the Collège could not have missed this celebration, even if it represents more of a marketing ploy that a real French tradition. It wasn’t a big deal if the first batches of 2009 were more or less like a raspberry liqueur. The important thing is that we were together feeling good in front of a buffet while tasting the wine; in moderation, of course. |
