Thanksgiving, together with the Americans.
In the United States, Thanksgiving is seemingly as important as Christmas. On the third Thursday of November, many a thankful American will make a long voyage to find themselves reunited with their family to share a meal. On the traditional menu: Turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and of course gravy; in memory of a meal shared between the American settlers and the American Indians. At CIC we have many Americans students, who perhaps found themselves with heavy hearts being so far from their families. Therefore there was no question of ignoring this holiday which represents thankfulness and neighborly appreciation. We kept as close to the traditions as possible and brought the whole “CIC family” together, a mix of many nationalities at the same table (the French included).
To conclude this festive evening the meal was followed by a night of Karaoke!
After the turkey, the canaries sang.(lol with a lot of false notes)
