"One question? One answer." That is Noël’s motto, our head chef of the students activties.  Using this formula has never failed him.  It is dedication, a quality perhaps originating from his childhood, as he grew up in the Jura mountains where the people are hardworking and tenacious.  Whether he is looking for a string bass or a tow truck on the weekend, he can find it and explain exactly how he did it.
Before being hired at the Collège, Noël worked at the "Librairie Apollinaire", a local book store, in front of Lycée Carnot, where the Collège was located at the time during the summers.  It was due to this intermediary of books that he was linked up with the Collège, and more specifically when the book store closed its doors.

Their closing coincided with the research for a student activities director at the Collège.  This was in 1986. Since then his responsibilities have grown, on top of organizing student excursions and activities, he took on the role of travel agent for students who were looking into trains, planes, hotels and other details for individual and group travel.  Though, he has been asked fewer questions concerning this function since the introduction of wireless internet and the use of laptops among students.
However, the schedule of Noel is always filled.  The groups that come to the Collège asking for trips and programs "a la carte", often months in advance, has increased over recent years.  This means more work for him.

Another task that has changed: the responsibility of the "Foyer" which has gradually transformed into a quick service restauration.  From inventory to hygiene standard training, it’s Noël running the show.  And of course it’s him who organizes the work schedules for the employees and the welcome of new groups from the airport to the Collège among other tasks…

From time to time Théo and Alban, his two boys, come to the campus for a visit.  As an attentive father, he watches over them in a manner in line with his principles: rigor and affection.
