Rocking the Croisette...

It’s true, MIDEM is a much less well known convention than the Cannes Film Festival.  For the students who were here in January it was a pleasant surprise to discover that Cannes also hosts one of the most important festivals of music in the world.  And festivals mean fun things to do, such as concerts… But how to get invitations?

Each year the student activities office obtains a number of tickets to give out to students on Campus.  This year we changed the strategy a bit.  Rather that offering a few tickets for several events, we chose one event and got many tickets.  Sixty students took the opportunity to go to the English evening event at the center of the Palais de Festivals.

Upon hearing the commentary the next day, it was clearly a good choice!
