It was an event we couldn’t ignore… There was no party, but we did eat lunch in a dinning room in American colors.

As an encouraging gesture to our American students on January 20th, to celebrate the presidential inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama, an American flag was placed along side a French flag in the dining room, and red, white and blue all around.  And on the menu were chicken, French fries, and brownies with vanilla ice cream.  It was a modest attempt, but nonetheless a symbolic participation for the event.
