The president’s New Years wishes

N°12 - Jan. 2009

New Years greetings in two waves.

At the Collège, getting all of the employed personnel together at once is a mission impossible.  It is simply just not possible to interrupt the continuity of the various necessary services at the Collège, but there is certainly no question of leaving out certain employees who cannot meet at the same time as the others.  Thus, the President gave his new years wishes in two parts.
Mr. Derrives, the president of the Collège, gave his new years wishes on January 22nd to the personnel in two waves.  At 11:45 he delivered them to administrative and activities teams, then at 12:15 after the courses he delivered them to the professors, late-comers from the first session and the serving and dining staff before they had to return to their tasks.
Among the Presidents entourage were Monique Gouyon, Gilles Cima, and Jean-Pierre Thévenin, members of the administrative council.

To everyone, regardless of the wave they arrived with, they gave their wishes, as well as thanks and praise for the work done, and evocation and perspectives for the New Year. Certainly there were difficult items to address as it is a difficult period for everyone, but there were also mentions of many projects and hopes thanks to the fidelity of the Collège’s partners, and the satisfaction of the students for whom they work on a daily basis.
