The Collège reinforces its stance against the abuse of alochol by forbidding hard alcohol on the campus.
The Collège cannot escape the disastrous tendencies of binge drinking, and despite all of the advice given and precautionary lectures made within the schools programming upon the arrival of new students, and despite the rule against minor consumption, it had become necessary to take certain precautions. This is why, beginning in July, the precautions were made a bit more draconian. Now, strong alcohol, and quantities of alcoholic beverages are forbidden on campus. These measures are in step with the national campaign for alerting the youth of the dangers of alcohol abuse. The preventative public service announcement that runs on the television will be shown at each session’s orientation meeting. This is also tied with the message of environmental protection and conservation with an emphasis on reducing our waste, we will include certain aspects of ecological conscience into our coursework.
Our goal is to work hard on prevention, to cut down on eventual sanctions, and at the same time to protect students from the dangers posed by alcohol abuse, which is dangerous, and potentially fatal.
