From the 22nd to the 28th of June, a program was designed especially for a group of Norwegian teachers.
There were ten high school and middle school teachers to whom the Oslo Commune had offered a week-long workshop at the Collège, with the objective of giving them a chance to acquire new learning tools for their classes, and more generally to “redynamize” them. A specific program has been set up around five themes, one for each day of the workshop: e-learning, France and the French today, “this is how it’s said”, using stories, and theatrical practice and methods within the classroom for language.
Five hours for each theme, it was a bit short, but the workshop participants left with numerous new techniques and ideas that they will be able to employ in their new classes, which start next August.
With such a program, they hardly had the time to play tourists. They received a tour of Cannes on foot the first day, an afternoon at the glass factory in Biot for some, a little trip to Antibes for others, and of course shopping for their last days in Cannes. Let us not forget the evening get-togethers at the beach, and of course the 7a.m. swims for the sea lovers; another particularly bracing fashion to "redynamize".
